Intimate Home Wedding in the Rain // Illinois // Chris & Amber

Chris & Amber’s wedding was a beautiful October wedding filled with so many happy tears! They both got ready at their parent’s homes & shared their first look & read letters on the front porch of Amber’s home! Right before the craziest rain storm swept in, we were able to take the most stunning bridal portraits in a little field at the end of the street. The field was covered in tiny white wild flowers & I was beyond glad this couple saw my vision for these photos. As the ceremony began, it began to just POUR outside, but despite that, Amber & Chris had a wonderful ceremony surrounded by family and friends. At the end of the night, while it was still raining, Chris & Amber ran around in the rain, singing & dancing to the music playing from their background where all the guests were dancing. This was for sure one of the best weddings I have ever been a part of. :)
