If you’ve ever considered doing a winter engagement session, but think the logistics of getting it set up are too difficult, let me stop you right there, ABSOLUTELY DO IT. Here’s the thing, snow engagement sessions are hard to time, but your engagement photos will look so different from the other engagement sessions out there that typically happen in the other 3 seasons that are way easier to plan and create. Here’s how to plan for a winter engagement session: Coordinate with a photographer and watch the forecast each week for potential snow. Bring handwarmers and anything else you need to stay warm! Expect your hair to get a bit wet, so keep your hairstyle simple. And lastly just have fun with it, like play in the snow, throw snow balls at each other, roll around in the snow together!
